Job summary

Pritchard Industries LLC is hiring an Area Manager for the Jacksonville, FL area. This position will schedule shifts, monitor attendance, report absences, and conduct staff performance reviews. You may also recommend promotions, transfers, and dismissals.

Responsibilities

• Assign janitorial duties to staff and regularly inspecting their work to ensure standards are met.
• Issue cleaning supplies and equipment to janitorial staff as needed.
• Take inventory of all cleaning supplies and equipment and inform management when supplies are depleted.
• Demonstrate sound knowledge of various cleaning methods.
• Provide training and guidance to janitorial staff.
• Resolve conflicts between janitorial staff efficiently.
• Attend meetings and in-service training sessions as required.
• Perform janitorial duties when staff shortages occur.
• Review and approve payroll timesheets for assigned locations.
• Handle and report accidents.
• Manage and report changes related to non-union and union employees.
• Maintain a rapport with customers and union representatives.

Job description

• Pay or shift range: $60,000 USD to $80,000 USD
  The estimated range is the budgeted amount for this position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications and other job-related reasons.

We are looking to hire an Area Manager to our team in Jacksonville, FL. The Area Manager's responsibilities include scheduling staff shifts, monitoring staff attendance, reporting absences, and conducting staff performance reviews. You should also be able to make recommendations to management regarding promotions, transfers, and dismissals.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Assigning janitorial duties to staff and regularly inspecting their work to ensure that established standards are met.

• Performing all janitorial duties necessary in instances of staff shortages.
