The City of New Hope is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Supervisor to coordinate and directly maintain its five municipal facilities in partnership with site managers. The successful candidate will have strong communication, Microsoft Office skills and technical skills. Experience with service and maintenance contracts are a plus.

Typical hours are Monday through Friday 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., with occasional need for evening and weekend hours.

Competenze

• Three to four years of related experience.
• Five to six years of related experience.
• Training at vocational school, related on-the-job experience, or an associate's degree plus LCT Experience
• Class 2-C or greater boiler's license within eighteen (18) months of hire
• Valid driver's license in the State of Minnesota.

Mansioni

• Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot and repair a wide variety of mechanical systems.
• Plan, prioritize, assign and supervise building and facility maintenance and the work performed by vendors.
• Coordinate with department heads and other staff about work by internal teams or contractors.
• Provide input to department heads regarding annual operating budgets.
• Review invoices and monitor expenditures to ensure budget compliance.
• Operate and monitor building automation and lighting control systems; perform remote troubleshooting.
• Perform on-call duties for emergencies including alarms and security concerns.
• Carry out routine maintenance and determine when contractor services are needed.
• Work with occupants to prioritize service requests and update on project schedules.
• Perform seasonal duties such as snow/ice removal.
• Assist with special projects like furniture moves and event setup.
• Monitor safety and OSHA compliance; supervise janitorial standards.
