Qualifications

• Associate degree in a related field and 1 year of facilities management experience, or 3 years of facilities or property management experience.

Responsibilities

• Inspect facilities and schedule preventative maintenance to prevent problems.
• Negotiate and manage contracts with outside vendors for services like cleaning, landscaping, security, and waste removal.
• Oversee vehicle and trailer maintenance, servicing, and repairs of district vehicles.
• Serve as primary liaison with property lessors to ensure lease terms are met and renewals managed.
• Forecast costs and manage the budget for facility repairs, upgrades, and supplies.
• Communicate professionally across levels and draft clear notifications regarding building maintenance.
• Manage special projects related to facilities, renovations, and workspace setups.
• Conduct monthly checks on health department generators.
• May perform semi-skilled repairs to keep facilities safe and functional.
