Job summary

Macerich is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee the operation, maintenance, and long-term preservation of the property's physical assets. You will lead internal teams and vendors, coordinate with cross-functional departments, and ensure a clean, safe environment that meets corporate standards.

The role includes after-hours responsibilities, collaboration with the General Manager, and driving capital projects while maintaining strong tenant relationships and compliance with EHS programs.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in facility operations or commercial construction.
• Strong communication problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily facility management and direct oversight of housekeeping and contracted providers.
• Execute preventative maintenance programs and maintain required documentation.
• Conduct routine property inspections to ensure standards of operation and appearance.
• Coordinate tenant buildouts and liaise with contractors and local officials.
• Participate in the Manager on Duty schedule during non-office hours.
• Manage energy systems including lighting and HVAC; monitor budgets and safety programs.
