Job summary

Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health Texas seeks an Assistant Director of Facilities Services to support daily operations of Facilities and Food Services, overseeing staff, scheduling, training, contractors, quality, safety, and regulatory compliance. Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or Trade School Diploma required.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Valid driver’s license throughout employment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the day-to-day operation of Facilities and Food Services.
• Supervise, coach, train, and provide ongoing feedback to staff.
• Coordinate staffing and scheduling to ensure coverage.
• Monitor quality and completion of work by employees and contractors.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and well-functioning environment.
• Identify facility and safety concerns and ensure corrective action.
• Support OSHA, NFPA, accreditation, licensing compliance.
• Assist with emergency preparedness, safety procedures, and risk management.
• Participate in regulatory surveys and address non-compliance.
• Support departmental budgets and responsible use of resources.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, quality, and service.
• Promote communication and teamwork within the department and organization.
• Ensure training and understanding of policies and expectations.
