Job summary

Devereux Texas is seeking a Maintenance Specialist who can repair and maintain facility systems while upholding safety standards. You will work with a team of dedicated professionals to support individuals in need.

Duties include responding to emergencies, inspecting and maintaining electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and lighting systems, and keeping accurate maintenance records. Qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED, 3–5 years in facility maintenance, proficiency

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3–5 years in facility maintenance.
• Proficient computer skills and basic safety awareness.
• Valid driver license required.

Responsibilities

• Responds to emergencies and follows safety policies.
• Identifies and fixes safety hazards and ensures compliance.
• Performs routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on facility systems (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, painting, lighting).
• Operates tools safely and keeps maintenance records.
• Participates in fire drills, generator testing, and environmental monitoring.
• Maintains facilities in safe, functional condition and responds to emergency maintenance needs.
