Job summary

Sorrel River Ranch is seeking a Facilities Manager to oversee daily operations, maintenance, and safety of the resort’s physical infrastructure. You will manage a team, coordinate vendors, and ensure efficient building services across campus.

The role emphasizes budget oversight, space planning, and sustainability initiatives, with a focus on safe, reliable facilities and positive guest and staff experiences.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in facilities management, business administration, engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in facilities management.
• Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance, health & safety regulations.
• Proven ability to manage budgets, vendor relationships, and staff.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong leadership abilities and ability to work under pressure.
• Proficient in Google and facilities management software.
• Water plant and Pool Certifications required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and move throughout facilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee routine maintenance and repairs of all buildings and facilities.
• Manage preventive maintenance schedules for HVAC, electrical, plumbing systems.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Test and treat water for pool and spa daily.
• Manage vendor contracts and service providers.
• Develop space utilization plans and coordinate relocations.
• Manage facilities budget and cost reporting.
• Enforce safety protocols and emergency preparedness.
• Lead and train facilities team across departments.
• Promote energy-saving and sustainable practices.
