Job summary

Sorrel River Ranch Resort & Spa in Moab, Utah, seeks a Facilities Manager to maintain the property, its systems, and the teams who support it.

You will oversee daily maintenance, manage budgets, coordinate contractors, and ensure buildings, grounds, and amenities are safe, functional and welcoming. A bachelor’s degree and 5+ years in facilities management are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in facilities management or related field.
• 5+ years of facilities management experience.
• Strong knowledge of building systems and safety regulations.
• Experience managing budgets, vendors, and staff.
• Proficiency with Google tools and facilities management software.
• Water plant and pool certifications required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and move throughout property.

• Care for pools and spas with consistent testing and treatment.
• Coordinate vendors by scheduling contractors, overseeing service quality, and managing agreements.
• Support property projects including space planning, small renovations, and layout adjustments.
• Manage budgets by tracking expenses and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
• Ensure safety compliance through updated permits, protocols, and emergency preparedness.
• Lead facilities teams across maintenance, grounds, and garden/farm operations.
• Promote sustainability with energy-saving practices and environmental initiatives.

Position Overview

The Facilities Manager helps keep Sorrel River Ranch running smoothly by caring for the property, its systems, and the teams who support it. This role oversees daily maintenance, coordinates contractors, manages budgets, and ensures our buildings, grounds, and amenities remain safe, functional, and welcoming.

Education/Experience

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.


• Ability to work under pressure and lead a diverse team.


• Proficiency with Google tools and facilities management software.


• Water plant and pool certifications required.


• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and move comfortably throughout the property. Comfortable walking, standing, and moving throughout facilities as part of inspections and maintenance tasks.
