Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience: One year required with a Bachelor's degree, or five years required without.
• Experience leading staff and supervising work.
• Experience coordinating multiple concurrent facilities and renovation projects.
• Experience in academic, healthcare, laboratory facilities preferred.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate issue resolution with UVA Facilities Management and stakeholders.
• Track timelines across concurrent projects and manage space data.
• Prioritize facility needs based on safety and impact.
• Coordinate departmental moves, equipment relocations, and access during renovations.
• Supervise Store and Warehouse Specialists and oversee deliveries.
• Evaluate vendor relationships and support procurement.
• Use MS Office and space management systems to manage records.
• Conduct space assessments and occupancy verification.
• Build relationships with faculty, staff, researchers, and vendors.
• Adapt procedures to meet special needs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
