Job summary

The University of North Carolina TEACCH Autism program seeks a Facilities Coordinator to manage the Carolina Living and Learning Center’s facilities and support statewide clinic spaces. You will act as the lead for maintenance, grounds, fleets, security and housekeeping, and will plan proactive repairs to keep the sites operating smoothly.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma and experience in trades; strong organizational and communication skills are essential as you coordinate

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in relevant trade areas preferred; substitutions allowed year-for-year.
• Ability to perform maintenance repairs with or without accommodations.

Responsibilities

• Manage program and operational facilities for the Carolina Living and Learning Center.
• Serve as primary contact for maintenance, grounds, motor fleet, security and housekeeping.
• Oversee maintenance needs for seven regional clinics and TEACCH administrative offices.
• Coordinate relocation of offices and liaise with property managers for leased spaces.
