Job summary

University of North Carolina TEACCH Autism program seeks a Facilities Coordinator to manage program and operational facilities for the Carolina Living and Learning Center. The role serves as primary contact for maintenance, grounds, motor fleet, security and housekeeping, and requires proactive planning to address issues.

The position will be located 80% in Pittsboro, NC and 20% in Carrboro, NC, with potential travel to other clinics statewide.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency; or demonstrated possession of the competencies necessary to perform the work.

Responsibilities

• Manage program/operational facilities for the Carolina Living and Learning Center and oversee maintenance for seven regional clinics statewide.
• Serve as primary contact for maintenance, grounds, motor fleet, security and housekeeping issues; plan proactively to address issues.
• Perform basic facility maintenance and oversee relocation of offices; liaise with property managers for leased spaces.
• Coordinate maintenance needs for TEACCH administrative office and residential facilities; ensure safe, well-maintained spaces.
