Qualifications

• Typically requires an associate's degree or two-year technical or trade school certification along with nine or more years of progressive experience in facilities maintenance.
• Must demonstrate understanding of regulations covering maintenance/reconfiguration and contracts, costs, purchasing, and material management.
• Leadership skills including planning, scheduling, and coordinating work assignments to meet milestones.
• Ability to quickly understand new concepts and contribute to new processes in a evolving environment.
• Customer focus with the ability to analyze data and develop solutions to complex problems.
• Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills; interface with professionals.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily leadership and support to maintenance technicians, electricians, and other skilled trades.
• Monitor team performance, coach, and support employee development.
• Ensure work orders are assigned, tracked, and completed within timelines.
• Review backlog and recurring issues to maintain operational efficiency.
• Support troubleshooting for complex electrical, mechanical, or HVAC issues.
• Verify repairs and installations meet specifications and site requirements.
