Job summary

UL Research Institutes in Marietta, GA is seeking a Facilities Operations Manager to oversee on-site maintenance, logistics, and safety compliance for the CIRI Marietta facilities. You will manage vendor relationships, coordinate space planning, and ensure HVAC, water, vacuum, air filtration, and chemical safety systems operate reliably.

The role partners with building management, supports the enterprise HSE program, and drives continuous improvement in operations and emergency preparedness,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum 10 years of office or facilities management experience, including at least 5 years with specialty building mechanicals such as vacuum systems, air filtration, chemical safety monitoring, and power backup.
• Excellent project management and facility operations experience.
• Demonstrated ability to multitask and manage diverse stakeholder needs.
• Strong vendor management and communication skills.
• Experience coordinating with building management and HSE programs.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery and execution of on-site office and lab maintenance and logistics (HVAC, water, filtration, chemical safety).
• Coordinate and develop internal and vendor relationships to ensure smooth communications and project progress.
• Organize operations, logistics, calendars, and meetings; plan on-site deliveries and installations.
• Maintain vendor data in the CRM system and track commitments and timelines.
• Assist HSE with compliance areas including hazardous waste and OSHA requirements.
