Encoded Therapeutics Inc. is seeking a Facilities Supervisor to lead day-to-day facilities operations, vendor coordination, and regulatory compliance at our Morrisville, NC site.

You will supervise contract staff, own maintenance programs, manage waste handling (RMW and hazardous waste), support audits, and partner with engineering and site teams to ensure safe, compliant, and reliable operations. The role requires hands-on leadership, strong organization, and the ability to manage multiple

Qualifications

• Experience in GMP or regulated lab facilities operations.
• Experience coordinating and supervising contractors or small teams.
• Familiarity with EHS programs, regulated medical waste, and hazardous waste handling.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to documentation, scheduling, and vendor coordination.

Responsibilities

• Oversee facility operations and maintenance, including GMP gowning, cleaning, waste, and utilities.
• Perform hands-on troubleshooting and preventive maintenance on facility systems.
• Own maintenance programs for facilities, utilities, and infrastructure.
• Coordinate capital planning with leadership and engineering.
• Represent Facilities in audits and inspections; manage related documentation.
• Manage contractors and vendor services to meet contracts and budgets.
• Schedule, coach, and evaluate contract staff and vendor performance.
• Ensure EHS programs, waste management, and regulatory compliance.
• Adhere to SOPs; support inspections and internal reviews.
