Job summary

Holman in Raleigh, NC is seeking a seasoned Facilities Manager to handle maintenance, repairs, and security for multiple sites. You will coordinate with contractors, manage budgets, and ensure compliance with safety standards.

The role requires strong knowledge of building systems (electrical, plumbing, HVAC), ability to supervise vendors, review invoices, and lead preventative maintenance programs. A high school diploma is required; a Bachelor's or trade cert is preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of building systems (Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC, Fire Protection) and general maintenance.
• Ability to assess facility needs and decide in-house vs. contractor solutions.
• Clear communication of repairs to vendors and strong billing understanding.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Complete routine maintenance and repairs to buildings, furniture and furniture systems.
• Coordinate facilities work and inspections with contractors and/or local authorities.
• Patrol interior and exterior of facilities to identify problems and take corrective action.
• Prepare all POs for facilities items and contractors.
• Negotiate contracts with vendors providing services to our facilities.
• Maintain and update facilities security system.
• Coordinate employee moves with IT and management.
• Review and approve invoices for facilities maintenance.
• Develop preventative maintenance plans and annual budgets for locations.
