Job summary

The Woodruff Arts Center in Atlanta, GA seeks a Regular/Part-time Facilities and Event Services Associate to support both Facilities Operations and Event Services. This 40-hour weekly role requires evening and weekend availability based on campus events.

You will perform maintenance, assist with mail and deliveries, set up event spaces, manage furniture inventory, and help ensure safe, efficient operations across the campus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Construction, maintenance, facilities, or related experience preferred.
• Valid Georgia driver’s license, or ability to obtain one within a reasonable timeframe, required.
• Basic proficiency with Workday, Microsoft Windows, Excel, and email systems preferred.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull 40 to 50 pounds; climb ladders; and operate hydraulic lifts as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs in interior and exterior campus areas.
• Perform material handling and mail delivery duties; send/receive packages and sort deliveries.
• Set up and break down tables, chairs, and other equipment for internal and external campus events.
• Maintain inventory of event furniture and equipment; audit and report damaged items.
• Coordinate with Directors and Event Operations Manager for schedule-based tasks.
