Responsibilities

• Prepare work schedules, review vacations, ensure staffing, and evaluate performance.
• Schedule rounds to inspect unit operation and safety compliance.
• Coordinate with other departments to resolve issues and prevent problems.
• Provide supplies and equipment for the work group.
• Ensure attendance at in-service training for staff.
• Maintain knowledge of current trends to enhance expertise.
• Interpret and relay policy directives; suggest procedural improvements.
• Provide support as environmental worker when needed.
