Cushman & Wakefield is seeking an Operating Engineer to ensure efficient operation and maintenance of mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems at our properties in Louisville, KY. The role involves rounds, preventive maintenance, and housekeeping to maintain safe, comfortable environments.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience in commercial property operations, with knowledge of HVAC systems, boilers, pumps and energy management.

Qualifications

• HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA OR GED required.
• 5+ years of related work experience in operating mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems in a commercial property setting.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain plumbing, electrical, or HVAC requirements of the building(s).
• Perform preventive maintenance per standards, including changing filters, cleaning coils, and inspecting equipment.
• Respond to emergencies and document activities for supervisor.
