Job summary

Integral Senior Living (ISL) seeks a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the community's buildings, grounds, security and mechanical assets in Emeryville. The role ensures high standards of operation, safety, and preventative maintenance across all facilities.

You will develop vendor relationships, manage contracts, inspect apartments pre-occupancy and coordinate housekeeping, laundry and transportation services in line with policy and budget. Strong leadership and multitasking are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor/technical degree preferred.
• Four years of maintenance supervision experience.
• HVAC experience or training recommended.
• Knowledge of machinery, tools, repair techniques, plumbing.
• Experience with electrical systems, fire panels, emergency systems, disaster preparedness.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; capable of prioritizing tasks.

Responsibilities

• Supervises maintenance of buildings, grounds, security and mechanical assets.
• Oversees housekeeping, laundry and transportation services per policy and procedures.
• Manages total operation and maintenance of the campus to high standards.
• Develops vendor relationships and negotiates contracts for maintenance services.
• Conducts apartment inspections prior to occupancy; handles after-hours emergencies when needed.
• Implements a preventative maintenance program and work-order system.
• Plans and leads housekeeping/laundry operations within budgetary guidelines.
• Reviews monthly financial statements and implements action plans for deficiencies.
• Manages staffing and scheduling of team members to meet operational needs.
• Ensures transportation vehicles are safe and maintained and passengers are transported safely.
