Job summary

Hensel Phelps is seeking a Site Director I to lead all facets of site facilities operations, including maintenance and custodial services. You will drive client relations and business development, aiming for long-term contracts and compliant, well-managed facilities aligned with client and company goals.

This role requires framing operational strategies, supervising teams, and coordinating budgets and safety standards to deliver efficient, high-quality service across projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or combination of equivalent education and experience.
• 8+ years of directly related experience managing facilities and maintenance operations with large-scale sites.
• Strong understanding of facilities management processes, budgeting, and regulatory compliance.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and supervise facility management and custodial services.
• Develop goals, procedures, and budgets to ensure efficient operations.
• Coordinate maintenance activities and supervise staff to optimize productivity.
• Lead client relations and business development for long-term contracts.
• Prepare contract specs and manage service agreements.
• Conduct site visits to verify contractual compliance.
