Qualifications

• Strong communication and negotiation skills both verbally and in writing.
• Fiscal management and budgeting experience.
• Ability to build effective relationships with management, stakeholders, and employees.
• Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration, Architecture, or related field.
• 8+ years of related experience with large-scale facilities management.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and supervise facility management services including maintenance and custodial operations.
• Develop and implement goals, objectives and procedures for efficient facilities operations.
• Review and optimize operating procedures, budgets, and staffing for cost-effective maintenance.
• Lead energy conservation initiatives and recommend cost-saving methods.
• Oversee contract specifications and negotiations for maintenance and alterations services.
• Conduct site visits for work and contractual compliance verifications.
