Job summary

YWCA Northeast Indiana seeks a facilities maintenance professional to keep our building safe, functional, and well-kept. You will perform routine repairs, manage vendor contracts, and coordinate with the Advancement Team on donations logistics.

Ideal candidates have 2–4 years in facilities management, strong tools proficiency, and the ability to work flexible hours including evenings/weekends for urgent issues.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of hands-on building maintenance or facilities management experience.
• Proficient with standard hand/power tools and basic mechanical systems.
• Strong communication and customer service skills with staff and clients.

Responsibilities

• Maintain schedule for meeting rooms and staff offices.
• Inventory facilities materials, equipment, and office supplies.
• Source and supervise external contractors; review scopes and inspect work.
• Support Emergency Action Plan updates, SDS, and logs.
• Create depreciation plan for facilities and maintain records.
