Job summary

Chipton-Ross, Inc. in Ogden, UT is seeking a Facilities Analyst 1 for a contract role. This entry-level position involves escorting, hazardous materials handling, and meticulous record-keeping of facilities and site operations.

You will use basic hand tools, coordinate with suppliers and internal teams, monitor contracts for compliance, and support process documentation and maintenance planning on a full-time first shift from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

Qualifications

• Ability to keep records and remain organized.
• Experience with Microsoft Office.
• Experience with handling basic tools (drills, wires, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Escort visitors and work within Hazardous Materials and Waste record keeping.
• Maintain records for site vehicles and assets.
• Be mechanically competent and able to use hand tools.
• Monitor existing contracts to determine compliance as directed.
• Develop contract specifications for supplier goods and services and relevant documents.
• Interact with suppliers and buyers.
• Support and improve contractual processes through team collaboration.
• Generate plans, acquire materials, and schedule services for facilities activities.
• Communicate with internal and external stakeholders about adherence to schedules.
• Research availability of labor, tools, parts, and assets to meet customer needs and regulatory requirements.
• Review, create, and document facilities processes and procedures.
• Participate in meetings to validate processes with SHEA, SM&P, Document Control, Legal, Security, Fire, IT.
• Participate in and support project-related activities and complete assigned projects.
• Work to assigned schedule and log data from systems.
• Perform analysis using developed tools and propose improvements.
• Research using various media to support tasks.
• Receive and input service requests for buildings, equipment, and systems.
• Coordinate processing of routine requests to meet customer needs.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for facilities systems under supervision.
• Maintain configuration control for data, processes, equipment, and documents.
• Assist in resolving business operation problems.
• Assist in investigation and development of alternatives and recommendations.
