Job summary

The New York City Police Department, Campus Management Section, seeks an Oiler to assist in operating and maintaining facility equipment including boilers, pumps, fans and HVAC systems. The role supports safe, efficient building operations across City facilities.

Qualifications

• Three years of full-time satisfactory experience in the lubrication, maintenance, and repair of mechanical equipment
• 1.5 years of experience plus graduation from an approved trade, technical, or vocational high school or completion of an approved internship program
• 1 year of experience plus an associate degree in mechanical technology

Responsibilities

• Assist in the operations and maintenance and repair of facility equipment such as boilers, furnaces, pumps, fans, engines, turbines, generators, electrical and HVAC systems
• Lubricate and clean pumps, engines, blowers, compressors, motors, gears and ejectors
