Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or two years of professional schooling.
• One to two years of experience in professional delivery, moving furniture/equipment, or using a computerized work request system.
• Demonstrable experience with material handling equipment is required.
• Ability to lift and move up to 100 lbs. over a short distance.
• Ability to demonstrate good English verbal and written skills required.
• Knowledge of safety standards in a materials handling environment.
• Full manual dexterity for the operation of University trucks/vehicles and material handling equipment.
• Ability to operate University-owned and operated trucks, vans, forklifts, pallet jacks, and computers.

Responsibilities

• Move university property, furniture, and equipment for moves and event setups.
• Record intake and completion of work requests using a computerized system.
• Coordinate with the Manager and other teams to implement work requests and resolve issues.
• Assist Mail Services as needed.
• Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and company vehicles during daily tasks.
