Job summary

Intel Corporation is seeking a Facilities Mechanical Technician to maintain and optimize its state‑of‑the‑art facilities, ensuring reliability, efficiency and safety of mechanical systems powering manufacturing, research and development.

You will troubleshoot, repair and maintain HVAC and process systems, collaborate across teams, and help design and operate systems aligned with Intel's environmental goals.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or trade certification in HVAC, mechanical or related field with 6+ years of relevant work experience.
• 6+ years in mechanical systems, HVAC, refrigeration, water treatment, electrical/power or related facilities maintenance.
• Experience with industrial mechanical systems including pumps, piping, air handlers, boilers, chillers, exhaust systems.
• Experience supporting a large commercial facility and collaborating with internal customers.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and preventative maintenance on HVAC, plumbing and process systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with pumps, piping, air handlers, boilers and exhaust systems.
• Conduct routine inspections ensuring safety and environmental compliance.
• Assist in design, analysis and enhancement of mechanical systems for performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with operations teams to deliver engineering solutions for facility operations.
• Support development of mechanical systems roadmaps for expansion, renovations, and growth.
• Provide input to drafting for design documentation, testing and prototyping.
• Identify inefficiencies and implement innovative improvements to mechanical systems.
