Job summary

Skyworks Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Facilities Mechanical Engineering Intern. The role focuses on improving facilities systems, safety, reliability, and energy efficiency through hands-on projects and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

At least one course in thermodynamics or fluid dynamics.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Strong written and verbal communication; well organized and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

Identify and execute projects to enhance facilities system safety, reliability, and energy efficiency.
Perform deep dives of critical facilities systems to identify optimization opportunities.
Troubleshoot system faults and resolve interruptions.
Update/optimize the Facilities Tool Utility Matrix and related documentation.
Maintain as-built drawings, SOPs, SOOs, P&IDs, and PM schedules.
Conduct capacity vs demand analysis and assist with process equipment installation.
