Job summary

Wayfair is hiring a Warehouse Mechanic II in McDonough, GA. You will troubleshoot conveyor material handling systems, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and fire protection systems with minimal supervision, and handle multiple projects under tight timelines.

You will earn a $1,200 peak season bonus on top of your hourly pay and mentor teammates while coordinating maintenance activities. Proficiency with CMMS and operation of lifts and forklifts are expected, with a strong emphasis on safety and

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in industrial maintenance.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and use volt/ohm meters.
• Proficiency with relay logic, ladder diagrams, and control components.
• Proficient with CMMS software.
• Experience operating warehouse equipment (pallet jacks, forklifts, aerial lifts).
• Must lift up to 75 lbs and work in non-climate controlled environments.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot conveyor material handling systems and associated equipment.
• Execute departmental and operational goals.
• Assist in design, layout, and reconfiguration of systems as needed.
• Use CMMS to create and maintain work schedules and workflows.
• Operate aerial lifts, forklifts, and other material handling equipment.
• Mentor teammates to improve performance and safety.
• Maintain tools, supplies, and a clean work area.
• Perform emergency repairs under pressure.
