Job summary

Sea Island Company is seeking a maintenance technician responsible for repairs and upkeep of Sea Island property, including equipment, plumbing, HVAC, and building systems. You will provide friendly, prompt service to guests, members, and employees while upholding Sea Island hospitality standards.

The role requires strong communication, tool proficiency, and the ability to work flexible hours including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Minimum two to six (2-6) years experience in related field.
• CFC (Chlorofluorocarbons/EPA) and Trade License(s) are preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent credentials.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Must have a favorable driving history.

Responsibilities

• Perform proactive and preventative maintenance on gas and electric equipment.
• Performs preventative maintenance on all plumbing and mechanical equipment.
• Perform basic diagnostics on ice machines and refrigeration.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and parts used in the shop and for equipment repairs.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in all work areas.
• Uphold Sea Island Five-Star Standards with coworkers and staff.
