Amy’s Kitchen, Inc. in White City is hiring for a facilities technician who performs routine repair, modification and preventive maintenance on buildings, equipment, fixtures and systems. The position emphasizes safety, PPE use and adherence to GMP guidelines.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, plus 3 months of related experience or training. The role may require overtime during peak periods and offers on-site training and growth opportunities.

SUMMARY
Performs routine repair, modification and preventive maintenance tasks on buildings facilities, equipment, fixtures and systems.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Other duties may be assigned.

• General building and grounds maintenance including interior and exterior painting and repairs, replacement of lamps and lights, plumbing and drain work, light carpentry, forklift operation, platform lift operation, roof repair, running errands to pick up parts, repair or installation of warehouse racking and strip curtains, preventive maintenance on air handlers, swamp coolers and HVAC units, and monitoring and assistance with maintaining waste handling system.
• Follow lockout/tag out safety procedures during service and repair.
• Use personal protective equipment as required.
• Comply with the rules and regulations set forth in Amy's Kitchen Inc. employee handbook, safety manual and the GMP booklet.
• During peak season or based on company needs overtime is required.
