Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have graduated from high school or possess an approved high school equivalence certificate.
• Ability to learn and perform varied maintenance and repair work under supervision.
• Must be available for emergency work and capable of working weekends/holidays/rotating shifts.

Responsibilities

• Assist craftspeople and independently perform basic maintenance, construction, repairs, and mechanical adjustments to campus facilities.
• Perform carpentry, painting, electrical, mechanical, plumbing and general maintenance tasks.
• Maintain logs and readings for preventative maintenance schedules; operate and safeguard tools and equipment.
• Adhere to safety policies and report unsafe conditions or equipment damage to supervisor.
