Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent and 3 years of related craft experience.
• Knowledge of methods, tools and supplies used in maintenance and repair of buildings and their fixtures.
• Ability to learn and perform general maintenance and repair work under supervision.
• Ability to work weekends, holidays, rotating shifts and overtime, and respond as an Essential Employee.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs, maintenance and renovations to buildings and facilities related to carpentry craft items.
• Scrape, prime, paint, varnish, stain and other painting craft functions and operate related equipment.
• Install and service power circuits, switches, receptacles, light fixtures and related electrical devices.
• Install, inspect, repair or maintain heating, ventilation and air conditioning equipment and mechanical systems.
• Install and repair waste lines, water lines, gas lines and plumbing fixtures.
• Perform general maintenance including safety, logs, records, and landscaping coordination as needed.
• Adhere to safety policies and report unsafe conditions or damages to supervisor.
