Job summary

Randstad USA is seeking a Facilities Mechanic for our Central Islip Facility. In this permanent, full-time role, you will maintain, troubleshoot, and repair building systems to keep operations safe and efficient.

The position is on-site and works the 1st shift, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with compensation around $26-$29 per hour. Required qualifications include a High School diploma and about 3 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in facilities maintenance or similar role.
• Permanent full-time position with a first shift schedule.
• Education: High School diploma required.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on building HVAC systems.
• Inspect, maintain, and repair plumbing fixtures, piping, and water systems.
• Handle basic electrical repairs, installations, wiring, and troubleshooting.
• Conduct facility walkthroughs to identify maintenance needs and safety hazards.
• Respond promptly to service requests and emergency maintenance needs.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean, organized condition.

Responsibilities
