Surgical Institute of Reading is seeking a Materials & Facilities Technician to support the daily operations of Materials Management and Facilities, ensuring supplies are received, stocked, and delivered, while maintaining a safe and organized environment for patients and staff. The role encompasses routine building maintenance, inventory control, and coordination of facility improvements.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments.
• Verify deliveries against packing slips and POs.
• Label, organize, and stock supplies in designated locations.
• Transport supplies between facility locations.
• Perform routine building maintenance and repairs.
• Paint facility areas and patch walls as needed.
• Assemble, install, and move furniture, shelving, and equipment.
• Complete routine preventative maintenance and facility inspections.
• Identify safety hazards and report repair needs.
• Support environmental safety and hazardous waste handling procedures.
