Job summary

Delaware Valley University is seeking a Materials Expediter / Facility Coordinator in the Facilities Management Materials department. The role covers daily operations, purchasing, tracking, shipping and receiving, and coordinating with Maintenance and Events Management.

Responsibilities include handling material transactions, inventory control, and supporting staff during high-volume periods, with a focus on vendor relations and efficient service. A valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
• Trade or vocational school preferred.
• 5+ years of material handling or expediting experience with maintenance trades (Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing) preferred and purchasing/procurement of facilities materials/services.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with Purchasing, Accounting, and Shipping & Receiving.
• Manage material transactions and inventory control methods.
• Meet with department supervisors to assist with material procurement needs.
• Support Facilities during high-volume periods and moves.
