Health First in Melbourne, FL seeks a Facilities & Construction Manager to oversee operations across multiple locations, including a 500+ bed tertiary hospital and level 2 trauma center.

You will ensure regulatory compliance with Joint Commission, OSHA, AHCA and NFPA, manage operating and capital budgets, supervise maintenance and construction teams, and coordinate safety programs with clinical staff to minimize care disruption. This is a full-time role with a schedule of 8:00am–4:30pm.

Formación

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Two (2) years leadership experience.
• Five (5) years of Healthcare Facilities experience.
• Licensure: None
• Certification: None
• Skills/Knowledge/Abilities: None

Responsabilidades

• Assist Director in quarterly forecast and monthly operating reports.
• Obtain bids for maintenance and installations.
• Monitor energy usage and reduce consumption.
• Assist Director with developing and implementing long-range maintenance plans.
• Monitor and control team productivity within budgets.
• Ensure Life Safety and Environment of Care standards are followed.
• Manage emergency responses including disasters and outages.
• Support construction activities for safe projects.
• Schedule and oversee work orders and preventive maintenance.
• Maintain records of mechanical equipment and maintenance schedules.
• Coordinate with Clinical and Infection Control to minimize disruption to patient care.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with Joint Commission, AHCA, NFPA, OSHA and conduct surveys.
