Job summary

First State Bank in Missouri is seeking a part-time Facilities Manager to oversee maintenance across banking locations. The role focuses on keeping HVAC, plumbing, electrical, landscaping, and other facilities in good working order.

You will develop monthly maintenance schedules and budgets, coordinate bids, monitor contractors, and work with branch managers to ensure supplies and safety standards. Requires 3–5 years of related experience and a GED/high school diploma.

Qualifications

• Three to five years related experience and/or training required.
• Experience with building maintenance and vendor coordination is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure facilities across bank locations are in proper working order and maintenance is performed on HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and landscaping.
• Research and procure bids for facility maintenance and facility improvements.
• Monitor contractors and coordinate with Security Officer to maintain security systems at all locations.
• Transport items to and from locations as needed.
• Maintain lawn care, landscaping, and sidewalks; clean roofs and gutters as necessary.
• Develop monthly maintenance schedules and annual budgets for maintenance expenses and facility improvements.

Job description

First State Bank is seeking a Facilities Manager for our banking locations. If you have experience with internal and external building maintenance this may be a good fit for you!

Approximately 20-30 hours per week. Must be available to work Saturdays.

Duties and Responsibilities:

The Facilities Manager will perform all duties required of this position by following policies and procedures set forth by First State Bank, including, but not limited to:

• Ensures all physical facilities of the bank are in proper working order and that proper maintenance is performed on the HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and landscaping.
• Researches and procures bids for facility maintenance and facility improvements.
• Monitors contractors that are responsible for facility maintenance. (Window washers, HVAC filter changes, etc.) Collaborates with the Security Officer to maintain security and alarm systems at all locations.
• Transports items to and from locations when applicable.
• Collects and empties trash as needed.
• Maintains lawn care, landscaping, and sidewalks on a seasonal basis. Collects and disposes of any litter on the properties.
• Maintains pneumatic tube systems at all locations.
• Works with branch managers to manage supplies for each branch.
• Changes the water and air filters at all locations.
• Replaces lightbulbs both inside and outside at all locations.
• Cleans the roofs and gutters as necessary.
• Develops monthly maintenance schedules and executes maintenance accordingly for all locations.
• Develops monthly/yearly budget for maintenance expenses and facility improvements for all locations.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
• Three to five years related experience and/or training required.
