Job summary

Lake Metroparks is seeking a Full-Time Farmpark Facility Manager in Kirtland, OH to oversee daily facility operations and coordination of rentals, events, and staff. This exempt role requires supervising full-time, part-time, seasonal employees, and volunteers, while ensuring safety, accessibility, and excellent guest experiences.

The position includes budget involvement, vendor coordination, and collaboration with park departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in facilities management, construction management, building maintenance, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of three years in facility operations, construction supervision, or equivalent.
• Experience supervising full-time, part-time, seasonal staff and volunteers.
• Experience coordinating facility rentals and special events preferred.
• Budget preparation, monitoring expenditures, and resource prioritization experience.
• Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and building maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily Farmpark facilities operations and staff.
• Coordinate facility rentals, events, and public-use activities.
• Supervise staff and volunteers, including scheduling and training.
• Assist with budget planning, purchasing, and inventory control.
• Ensure safety, accessibility, and high guest services standards.
• Coordinate with other park departments on maintenance and projects.
