Salary Range: $93,235.83 To $116,544.79 Annually

Role:

Manages and maintains the credit union physical branches, buildings, furniture, fixtures & other equipment, vehicle fleet and offsite storage needs.
Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Chief Operations Officer. Adheres to all policies and procedures. Adheres to Federal and State Laws and Regulations.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
  • Manages and coordinates janitorial services, lawn care, waste removal, pest control, coffee services, drinking water services, door mat services, interior plant services, vehicle care and maintenance, care and maintenance of physical assets such as furniture and fixtures and offsite storage needs.
  • Manages installation, maintenance and repair of building automation systems, building access control systems, fire prevention and detection systems, HVAC maintenance and repair, emergency generator systems, security systems such as cameras, alarms and security guard services. Includes contractor evaluations, contract negotiation, scheduling and supervision of work.
  • Serves as a first responder to all maintenance and facility-related issues.
  • Evaluates, selects and hires vendors and contractors, and manages and supervises their work, to develop and successfully complete credit union facilities maintenance, repair, remodel, and construction projects. Serves as the credit union’s liaison with general contractors on remodel and construction activities.
  • Oversees the management of the Facilities department to ensure adequate staffing and promotes efficiency through training, coaching, development, and performance reviews.
  • Coordinates HQ building operations, including stocking and replenishing paper, coffee and break room supplies; collecting, sorting, and distributing incoming mail and packages; and ensuring common areas are maintained and ready for staff and visitors.
  • Prepares employee schedules and effectively utilizes overtime, extended hours, workforce management, vacation, and other options to ensure the best use of staff resources and coverage.
  • Sets budget targets, tracks allocated expenses, troubleshoots variances, reaches performance targets, and communicates budget discrepancies to the organization.
  • Participates in a variety of staff and operational meetings to support the organization's business continuity, incident response plans, and strategic initiatives.
  • Manages capital projects, remodels and build-outs as directed.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.

  6. Employee demonstrates an understanding of, and follows the requirements of all regulation compliance, including but not limited to those of Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), Customer Identification Program (CIP) and Member Due Diligence (MDD) as it specifically relates to their job functions. Employee shall be trained annually in BSA/AML compliance.
Knowledge and Skills:
Experience

Five years to eight years of similar or related experience.

Education

(1) A two year college degree or (2) Completion of a specialized course of study at a business or trade school or (3) Completion of a specialized and extensive in-house training or apprenticeship program.

Interpersonal Skills

Work involves extensive personal contact with others and is of a personal or sensitive nature. Motivating, influencing, and/or training others is key at this level. Outside contacts become important and fostering sound relationships with other entities (companies and/or individuals) becomes necessary and often requires the ability to influence and/or sell ideas or services to others.

Other Skills
  • Carpentry, mechanics, HVAC Systems, plumbing and electrical experience highly preferred.
  • Computer skills utilizing MS EXCEL, Word and PowerPoint preferred.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common technical, industry-specific, and scientific literature, financial reports, and basic legal documents.
  • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Physical Requirements

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands or fingers, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, and sit. Specific vision abilities required of this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus.

Work is performed both indoors and outdoors with some potential for exposure to safety and health hazards related facilities and construction work. May require periodic travel. There is exposure to potential hazardous conditions. Employees are to receive detailed instructions and procedures to follow in order to minimize risk.
