Job summary

Papago Management is seeking three full-time Facilities Manager to lead the facilities team across Elk Grove, Mt. Prospect, and Rosemont arenas. You will oversee repairs, maintenance, and safety compliance, coordinating with technicians, vendors, and contractors to keep facilities in top condition.

The role requires strong project management, budgeting, and communication skills, with on-site responsibilities and on-call coverage for events and tournaments.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of building systems, structures, interiors, exteriors, housekeeping, and maintenance.
• Proficiency with CMMS and MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Recruit, train, and schedule employees.
• Coordinate monthly staff meetings.
• Ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained environment across all facilities.
• Assist in developing and maintaining a capital improvement budget.
• Oversee on-site capital improvement projects.
• Schedule and coordinate annual inspections, resolve issues, maintain inspection reports and certificates.
• Serve as liaison with Village of Elk Grove and inspections/permits.
• Assist in managing maintenance contracts with the director of facilities.
• Obtain, maintain, and organize certificates of insurance from vendors.
• Ensure cost-effective purchasing of supplies, parts, and vendor contracts.
• Manage a work order system through CMMS.
• Assist budgeting with facilities and accounting to align expenditures with budget.
• Implement and oversee maintenance programs for all facilities.
• Direct and manage facility infrastructure, including HVAC systems.
• Be on call with the manager of operations for events.
• Coordinate crowd control and safety for on-ice and off-ice events.
