Job summary

Guardian Service Industries, Inc. is seeking a manager who can hire, supervise and direct handypersons and contractors at a high-end social club and residential community in Midtown Manhattan.

The role requires overseeing repairs on floors, carpeting, painting, drywall, electrical, plumbing and HVAC, with strong organizational and liaison duties. Ideal candidates will have solid supervisory experience, and the ability to coordinate front-of-house meetings with clients and vendors.

Qualifications

• FDNY Certificates of Fitness may be required and must be obtained promptly.
• Moderate to advanced computer skills (Microsoft Office, etc.).
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to climb ladders.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee repairs and maintenance of facilities (floors, carpeting, painting, plaster, drywall, wall coverings, appliances, windows, doors).
• Manage and direct Handypersons and contractors at a high-end social club and residential community.
• Maintain records and perform scheduling as needed.
• Lead front-of-house client/contractor liaison meetings.

The Role

Salary and Benefits

This position will require the capability to perform front of house client/contractor liaison meetings and/or discussions regarding the above outlined topics to best serve the client in a high-end social club and residential community in midtown Manhattan, NY.
