Job summary

Worth Ross Management Company (WRMC) is seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to oversee the maintenance and engineering operations of a luxury residential community in Austin. The role centers on ensuring building systems, amenities, and infrastructure operate safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.

You will lead the on-site maintenance team, coordinate with vendors, and partner with property leadership to deliver exceptional service for residents.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of facilities or property maintenance experience, preferably in luxury residential or high-rise communities.
• Leadership experience managing or mentoring maintenance teams.
• Strong knowledge of building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, elevators, and life safety systems.
• Experience coordinating vendors and service contractors.
• Familiarity with preventive maintenance programs and building operations best practices.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily maintenance and operations of building systems, common areas, and amenities.
• Lead, train, and support the on-site maintenance team to ensure high-quality service.
• Coordinate building inspections, preventive maintenance programs, and vendor services.
• Monitor building performance and recommend improvements for efficiency and cost savings.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, local regulations, and company policies.
• Maintain maintenance records, inventory, and operational documentation.
• Respond to emergencies and participate in after-hours on-call rotations as needed.
• Foster positive relationships with residents, vendors, and team members.
