Job summary

CBRE Facilities Manager position in Indianapolis oversees a team responsible for building operations and maintenance across a Life Sciences/Pharma facility portfolio. The role supports approximately 40K SQ FT, coordinating repairs, safety, budgets, and capital projects with a focus on reliability and compliance.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree with 3-5 years of relevant experience and FM certification preferred, plus strong leadership and vendor management skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred with 3-5 years of relevant experience.
• FM certification preferred.
• Experience in Life Sciences/Pharmaceutical facilities is highly valued.
• Vendor management of hard services (HVAC, electrical, plumbing) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise employees; evaluate performance; oversee hiring and training.
• Plan and manage daily activities; set schedules and deadlines; cross-train staff.
• Coordinate repairs and maintenance with technicians and vendors.
• Maintain client relationships and conduct issue resolution meetings.
• Oversee capital projects, budgets, and variance reports.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and safety procedures.
• Oversee vendor invoicing and procurement activities.
• Provide training on maintenance and safety best practices.
• Lead by example and align with CBRE values.
