Job summary

MGM Grand Las Vegas is seeking a Facilities Manager to lead the engineering department in maintaining the building and its systems. You will oversee maintenance staff, schedule work, and ensure compliance with safety and building codes while driving the department toward profitability and operational excellence.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED and at least 2 years of relevant supervisory experience or technical education.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 2+ years of prior relevant management experience or technical education/experience.

Responsibilities

• Execute department strategy aligned with the budget and profitability goals.
• Directly supervise all engineering activities and maintenance staff, including scheduling and performance feedback.
• Ensure guest service delivery meets company standards and brand attributes.
• Maintain compliance with local and federal health, safety, and building codes; keep accurate logs and records.
• Oversee inventory and purchasing for parts, tools, equipment, and machinery to property standards.
