Job summary

MGM Resorts International in Las Vegas is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Engineer for the Facilities Lock Shop. This full-time role focuses on maintaining and repairing complex mechanical systems, ride-related equipment, and supporting daily operations across a dynamic entertainment property.

Ideal candidates are 21+, with a High School Diploma or GED. Resort and theme park maintenance experience preferred; certifications like Allen Bradley PLC, 6G welding, or Aircraft A&P are a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in a resort setting preferred.
• Experience with theme park maintenance preferred.
• A&P/industrial certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair boilers, compressors, refrigeration equipment, generators and related systems.
• Inspect, maintain, and repair ride systems and auxiliary equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and hydraulic problems on ride systems.
• Complete work orders and perform daily route inspections.
• Perform repairs and preventive maintenance as assigned.
