Job summary

The Indigo Road Hospitality Group is seeking a Facilities Manager for Charleston to develop, implement, and manage all administrative, financial and operating aspects related to the engineering department. You will oversee safety, profitability, and compliance with codes while leading preventive maintenance programs and coordinating with vendors.

Responsibilities include managing HVAC/elevator systems, budgeting for labor and expenses, directing engineering staff, and ensuring safe operations

Qualifications

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Ability to apply basic algebra and geometry.

Responsibilities

• Follow all IRH management company standards.
• Maintain HVAC, elevator, fire system, plumbing, and landscaping contracts.
• Ensure mechanical equipment is in working order.
• Follow safe working standards.
• Review MSDS products for Charleston properties.
• Create and maintain preventive maintenance programs with documentation.
• Communicate with all departments on an ongoing basis.
• Manage controllable expenses, labor cost, and cost per location.
• Order necessary products for daily operations.
• Perform normal building repairs.
• Maintain a safe and fair work environment.
• Direct the work of others in engineering or other departments.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
