Job summary

The Indigo Road Hospitality Group in Charleston seeks an experienced Human Resources Manager to oversee HR operations across our growing portfolio of restaurants and hotels. The role requires superb organization, attention to detail, and the ability to manage both daily tasks and urgent needs with effective communication.

You will partner with leaders across Restaurant and Lodging divisions to advise on policies, recruitment, benefits, and onboarding, while ensuring compliance.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 3-5 years of experience in a human resources generalist role within the hospitality industry.

Responsibilities

• Maintain consistent interaction with managers and staff to monitor HR issues and investigations.
•  
• Assist in employee questions, concerns and investigations.
•  
• Act as a strategic business partner with Restaurant and Lodging leaders on employment policies, procedures, and recruitment needs.
•  
• Assist with New Manager Orientation and training to communicate HR standards.
•  
• Coordinate recruitment by writing management offer letters and onboarding.
•  
• Track background checks and report results within 3 days.
•  
• Maintain updated employee handbook and HR policies.
•  
• Oversee benefits and payroll and annual open enrollment.
•  
• Conduct regional wage surveys when needed.
•  
• Maintain HR records in Paylocity.
•  
• Track OSHA Training and TIPS alcohol requirements.
•  
• Process unemployment claims and attend hearings as needed.
•  
• Manage 60-day new hire review process for hotel staff.
•  
• Participate in HR Department meetings and training initiatives.
•  
• Maintain compliance with employment laws and regulations.
