Job summary

North Ridge Country Club is seeking a proactive Facilities Manager to oversee safe and efficient operation of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, pools, and general building systems. You will lead the Facilities & Maintenance team, schedule coverage, manage purchases, and ensure OSHA compliance.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and a CPO certification within 90 days. EPA 608 is preferred but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• General knowledge of building maintenance, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
• Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification required within 90 days of hire.
• EPA Section 608 HVAC Certification preferred, but not required.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain effective preventive maintenance programs.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance on building systems and equipment.
• Complete general repairs and maintenance in a timely manner.
• Perform tasks related to plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting.
• Coach Facilities team and cultivate a positive work environment.
• Schedule team to ensure continuous coverage during Club operating hours.
• Manage purchases required for facilities and maintenance using the Club’s purchasing guidelines.
• Ensure all purchases are complete and paperwork is submitted with invoices.
• Schedule and assign work as necessary according to priority.
• Maintain effective training program to ensure that all maintenance workers are properly equipped.
• Ensure OSHA procedures are followed and maintenance team is knowledgeable in these requirements.
• Coordinate with the grounds maintenance team to assist with outdoor projects.
• Maintain pool surfaces and chemical levels.
• Respond to urgent facility matters, utilizing your team when necessary.
• Manage independent contractors while performing work on site, ensuring work is complete and meets scope.
