Job summary

IDEA Public Schools is seeking a Facilities Manager to lead a custodial team in delivering a clean, safe, and sustainable learning environment. The role emphasizes high-quality facilities, staff development, and retention of custodial staff to support student success.

The position offers an hourly rate between $24.22 and $30.41, with eligibility for a performance bonus based on team performance and goal attainment, plus a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Education: HS diploma or GED is required.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in facilities, maintenance, or construction is required.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience directly managing or leading a team is required.
• Experience: Ability and experience in the use of Microsoft Office Suite is required.

Responsibilities

• Campus is safe and operational before the First Day of School (FDOS).
• Achieve an A rating in the Facilities Comprehensive Audit from BOY through the last day of school.
• Complete the Facilities QuickStart checklist for school readiness.
• Ensure 100% of required Safe Schools and Roadmap trainings are completed before the deadline.
• Maintain and secure chemicals on-hand.
