Job summary

IDEA Public Schools is seeking a Facilities Manager in Texas to lead the custodial team, ensure a clean, safe, and high‑quality campus environment, and drive facilities excellence. You will hire, develop, and retain custodial staff while maintaining strong budgets and compliance across the school network.

Ideal candidates have at least 3 years in facilities/maintenance, 2 years of team leadership, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Education: HS diploma or GED is required.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in facilities, maintenance, or construction is required.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience directly managing or leading a team is required.
• Experience: Ability and experience in the use of Microsoft Office Suite is required.

Responsibilities

• Campus safe and operational one week before First Day of School (FDOS).
• Achieve an A rating in the Facilities Comprehensive Audit from BOY to last day of school.
• Complete the Facilities QuickStart checklist to ensure school readiness.
• 100% of required Safe Schools and Roadmap trainings completed before deadline.
